Stunningly sparse video to match the song, new from New Zealand’s Lorde. I’m really into this track. And I think that’s a Postal Service reference in the about section, which works for me.
New clip from Thumpers makes my eyes dizzy. I love these boys and this is a massive pop hit. Out June 3rd on Transgressive.
I love Selebrities, and this new track does nothing but cement my feelings. Shimmering and desolate at the same time. I feel like I might get obsessed with this quite quickly.
Halifax’s Cousins play The Great Escape in Brighton next month. I saw them last year in Nova Scotia. They were loud, abrasive, and brilliant. Go check them out… unless they’re on the same time as our Kissability showcase. Obvs.
New one from Joey Fourr, the scuzzed up project of ex-Tubelord front man Joe. Slightly more mellow than his previous efforts but just as infectious.
And starting on Thursday, Joe has an exhibition of hand-printed zines and tees at Lik + Neon, London. Details here - http://likneon.com/main.html
Heartbreaking intimacy from London duo Rainer. The first time I heard this song it totally floored me. I played it four times in a row. I still love it many plays later. The band play The Great Escape in Brighton on May 17th.

Swimming are from Adelaide, yet they kinda sound like their from some heavenly space between The xx, Jessie Ware, and Woman’s Hour. Triplebrie is just as joyous as eating three large slices of the cheese in one go, but without the after-guilt.
Erm, so new Bleeding Knees Club sounds like Dude Ranch era Blink 182. I’m so into this it’s disgusting. I want to live in this track.
Haven’t posted anything since SXSW which is a bit lazy, BUT I saw this guy in Austin and he was completely mesmerizing. He’s got that super intense Xiu Xiu vibe and I’m head over heels for this song.
So excited for a new Fol Chen album. And I can’t wait to see them next week at SXSW. It’s been too long! <3 <3 <3
